Cheltenham is set to host the Institute of Licensing’s Summer Training Conference, an in-person event that promises to gather leading experts, regulators, trade professionals, and more to delve into the latest pivotal topics in licensing.
Scheduled for July 15, 2026, at Cheltenham Town Hall, this conference is crafted to deliver actionable insights and foster valuable discussions and networking opportunities.
The event, running from 09:30 to 16:30, is designed to cater to both individuals and teams, encouraging attendees to bring colleagues, share insights, and return to their workplaces equipped with practical, applicable knowledge.
The conference features an impressive lineup of speakers from Cheltenham Borough Council, including Michelle Bignell, licensing and public protection manager, who will participate in a taxi discussion panel, and Gareth Edmundson, chief executive, who will address local government reform.
